San Diego State Chemistry and Biochemistry is one of the nation's leaders -- placing in the top 25 according to the most recent data -- in providing American Chemical Society accredited bachelors' degrees to the R&D workforce in chemical, biomolecular, and pharmaceutical sciences. At any given time we have over 150 registered chemistry majors. We are also the leading Masters' program in chemistry and biochemistry for the San Diego region, graduating 19 M.S. and M.A. students in 2003.
