Directions to SDSU Chemistry/Biochemistry

Map this location.

We are in the Chemical Sciences Laboratory building at the corner of College Avenue and Alvarado Road, just off Interstate 8. The Department Office is in the adjacent GMCS building, in Room 209.

Visitors arriving from San Diego International Airport (Lindbergh Field):

Exit the airport and follow the signs to I-5 north. Take the junction two exits later for I-8 east towards El Centro and follow the directions below.

Visitors arriving via I-5, I-15, I-805, or 163:

• Take I-8 east to College Ave exit.
• Bear right at the College Ave. off-ramp, but move into second lane from the right before the traffic light at Alvarado Rd.
• Go straight through the traffic light at Alvarado, and turn sharp right just past the intersection to enter driveway for the Chemical Sciences Building.
• Pull up to the parking kiosk on the left, where parking assistance is available during regular working hours.
